eDiets.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:DIET) is a publicly traded company that operates in the rapidly growing $30 billion diet services industry. eDiets’ business model is to sell subscriptions to its online diet, fitness and motivation programs; the Company began to aggressively market its first program in early 2000.   eDiets went public in 1999, through a reverse merger with Kier Global’s public shell. It began trading on the NASDAQ SmallCap market in February 2004.
