Ike Kier – continued

In the telecommunications field, Mr. Kier was the majority owner of the Alabama 8 Cellular phone market, with a license granted to him by the Federal Communications Commission in 1989. The market has 170,000 residents and was the Cellular 1 carrier on Interstate 85 between Montgomery, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Kier sold the license in an all-cash transaction in 1993 to Palmer Media.

Mr. Kier also serves on the board of directors of Hana Biosciences (NASDAQOTB:HNAB), and Montebello Brand Liquors, Inc.

Mr. Kier was born and raised in Havana, Cuba and is fluent in Spanish. He received a BA in Economics from Cornell University, and a JD from George Washington University Law School.
